Got a phone call from this number today. Nobody there, no message left, no electronic mailbox, nothing. Tried calling them back, "mailbox is full". No doubt because you are pissing people off!

Automated voice said they were checking to see if we received phone books and to press "1" if in good condition and "9" if not. I didn't press anything and hung up.

I picked up the phone from this call and there was obnoxious noises from a recording that lasted well over a minute. I thought it was a prank call and when I tried to hang up, the call wouldn't end. I star 69'd the number and googled it. I'm annoyed that I had to pay to find out who was annoying me!

PDC does not leave the survey questions on an answering machine. The Federal Do-Not-Call legislation does not apply to organizations that are not soliciting (selling or marketing something). PDC uses delivery verification through phone calls because of the cost and quality of this quality control method. This type of quality control process is done by all the major companies in the distribution of telephone directories. Having said this, PDC is aware and respects that there are individuals that would not like to be part of this type of survey. As a result, PDC has created its own internal Do-No-Call list. If you or anyone else would like to have their phone number removed from our calling lists, please email the phone number you wish to be removed to DoNotCall@teampdc.com.

I would like to reiterate that delivery verification calling is a quality control standard in our industry and that each company that does this type of quality control is responsible for their own list. As such, even though PDC will no longer contact all numbers that are requested to be on our DoNoCall list, you may be contacted by others that do not have this capability.

I have received 2 calls. Both have no one on answering end. I have to hang up call. Whassup with that?

I was called today, just a few hours ago. They left a message - 35 seconds of silence. I'm in Canada.

Received call from them at 12:27 PM today. Did not answer. Sent email to (DoNotC) all@teampdc.com (SEE THE 16th EMAIL ABOVE) telling them to remove my number. EVERYONE should do this!

I got a phone call with that same phone number. but I didn't answer it I thought it was some kind of person wanting personal info . so thanks to gogle you can find anything in there .

Just got this call today and I got a phone book delivered to my house last week. I wasn't home and they did leave a message. WHo the heck needs or uses phonebooks now adays anyway.. that's why we have the internet. I 'd love to know how to stop getting phonebooks.. I just threw it in the trash!

I called the contact information above, waited until the end of the announcement and heard "I'll transfer you now."

Tanya or Tania or whatever picked up, and I told her about the hang up. She said that should not have happened. I told her I was looking online and apparently it was happening to hundreds of people and I asked her what's going on.

She said they're calling to confirm telephone delivery, but sounds like there's a "looping problem". I asked to be taken off the list, gave her my phone number, and she said she'd tell someone "right now."

the 'phone book confirmation' thing is bs. They do sales lead confirmation for phone spam and confirmation for debt collection agencies, etc... see this page.

I answered a call from this number and there was no one on the other line. I think it was a call to confirm that the number I entered on a website was accurate as I received the call just moments after signing up for an on-line mileage-for-survey deal. Hope this helps!

The do-not-call list may not apply to them, but the regulation about abandoned calls does. So go ahead and file an abandoned call complaint with the FCC.

Why in the heck are they calling a CANADIAN phone number/area code to sell me products oI can't buy because wait for it --- -they are an AMERICAN company with no international offices?

I got a call from them about 3 minutes ago. They just hung up. Does anyone know how to stop them?

I've had several calls from this # and there is a recorded message. I lay the phone down, and go back later and hang it up. I just assumed they were trying to sell something.

I have been called by this number several times and could not understand a word the person said so I hung up on them.

After reading messages left here and on other sites, I believe that this is a legit company, trying to verify phone book delivery. That being said, I think they need to come up with a better system because their calling and hanging up (They probably mass call multiple #'s with a robo-dialer, and whichever # picks up first goes thru to a "live" person, the others get a "hang up") is really disturbing. I don't have caller ID, and I had to pay the Phone CO. for Call Return Service to find out the phone #, plus the cost for the long distance call to figure out who they were(which was a waste because it went straight to "mail box is full"...) I'm wasting my time and money to help them gather info? Instead, Product Dev. should leave a message (it can be automated, so they can still mass-call) along with a toll-free telephone # that we can call back IF WE SO CHOOSE. We should be able to leave a response, like thru an automated survey, to make to make sure we get thru without having to call back more than once- so it easier on us, the customers. More people will respond than you think and no- one will be annoyed with these mysterious (and costly) hang-ups and other weird stuff.

They called me today and left no message. Last Fall when they called I told them I did not want any calls from them and was assured they wouldn't - so much for their honesty.

Another Product Dev call with no voicemail message left.

Also got a hangup call from them about a week after new phone books arrived.

This site probably doesn't allow the language I want to use, considering I just spent all last night in the ER for sudden illness, and I don't have patience for a*holes who hangup when I DID pick up. (I responded, "Who's calling?" but the prick couldn't say, so screw them). Spineless f-ing jellyfish - so much for the do not call list....

calls does not leave message

Hey PDC... tell me what Product you are Developing so I can be sure not to buy it. And to whoever hired these clowns, I hope you are getting your money's worth of angry demographics

Recieved a call from Product Dev with phone number 303-280-8689.
Did not answer and no message was left. This was the first time I recieved a call from this number. I am on the DNC list.

Outfits like this use loopholes in the "do not call" statutes to continue to call us. What makes them STUPID AS ALL HECK is that they disregard the DO NOT CALL list ... if someone has gone to the trouble of putting themselves on that list, what intelligent creature would think that calling such a person would produce a positive result? Politics are subject to this utter stupidity here in Iowa ... because when they wrote the statutes, they naturally exempted themselves. Still, they call me, with recorded messages ... from all candidates in all parties. Makes me hate them all. Is that what they want? Are they really that stupid?

Got a call from them, picked up the phone and there was really weird noises, like animals, that was creepy !!

I had a call from "Product Dev", it was a survey to know if I got my phone book. How weird is that ??

We recieved a call at the house from 303-280-8689 with caller ID showing "COLORADO". First we don't answer calls from unknown numbers, second we don't know anybody in this state, third we are on the DNC list and would like to do not get these kind of calls
