I have tried everything to stop these calls, I'm on the do-not call list , I have asked kindly for them to stop and nothing worked until I went and bought me a coach's whistle and when they get into the speech real good I would blow it direct into the phone !!! It has been a while since I got a call and I dont expect to get another one anytime soon !! I'm almost lonely !!

I saw this on my caller I.D., but didn't answer. I'm glad others reported here about their experiences with this "company" which will spare me the headache. I'm going to block this number from getting through on my line now.

WHy is every ones report different.. some are the same but some people have some wild ass stories???

This is just another criminal organization looking for a phone number that someone answers so they can sell the number to more criminal telemarketers. Get em!!

Called me 2 different times now and left a message.Don't know what language they are speaking tho.

Several calls spread over three days with no one on the line (I'm sure it is auto-dial and the caller talks with the first one that answers). Last one had a person (whom I interrupted with a blast about constant calling with no one on the phone) asking if any women in the home were between something and 65...I said no. It was about a survey, as has been described on this site previously.

I told them on the phone to quit calling me. The phone continued to ring. So today I sent an e-mail to all three emails (see below), telling them that I have already asked them to stop calling. If they continue to do so, I will begin calling their toll free number continuously as they call my number continuously. I also told them because they do business in the U.S., I would be filing a complaint with the U.S. Attorney General's office if they didn't knock it off. It's 8 pm and no phone calls.

Do Not Participate In Their Survery!! They called saying they were doing an audience study for a new sitcom and asked me to participate. They said they would send me the disc, have me watch it and then phone the next day and ask me a couple questions to get feedback. I figured, why not? Big mistake. The DVD was legit - a rather average sitcom loaded with commercials. The next day they called and asked me one minute's worth of questions about the sitcom and 1 1/2 hours (97 minutes) of questions about the commercials, specifically a ton of questions about Carefree pantyliners, when and how I use them, etc... I was very inuslted and embarrassed - some strange guy calling me and asking if I use pantyliners for back-up to my tampons, for odor control, etc... Their whole approach was dishonest and shameful. I am disgusted by the company! Save yourself the migraine and DO NOT answer their calls!

Yes--I took a survey on a TV show--thought it was harmless, but on my phone bill-- I was charged for an international call even though they called me! I am furious! That must be the scam! I reported them to the telephone company...

This number started calling a few days ago and is making a real nuisance of itself with repeated calls, even on Saturday and Sunday! ID shows Ontario, Canada so I never answer, but a message is not left either, it always hangs up when it gets to the part in the outgoing message that states "telephone solicitors, we are on a do not call list." What will it take to get them to stop calling?!

Received a call from Iposos n am 5-3-08. Said they were taking a survey not selling anything and asked if I was between the age of 45 and 75 years of age.I told the woman I was not going to give out information as she called me, I asked what this survey was about thus I can "opt out" if I was not interested. The woman on the phone said "Oh, I really don't know, this is my first call". She asked again "how old are you?" I told her "somewhere in between". She hung up on me.
I try to help with surveys when they are taken, these surveys can help the consumer, but the survey company must be honest and considerate. THIS COMPANY IS NOT CONSIDERATE BUT RUDE. I DO NOT BELIEVE THEY ARE LEGITAMITE, REGARDLESS OF WHAT CREDENTIALS THEY HAVE. STOP CALLING!

I got a call from 613-688-3625 - Gatineau QC and was told it was not a telemarketing call and they were not selling anything. They said they were going to have me watch a 30 minute show and wanted to know if there was any women in the house between the age of 35 and 75. I told them yes and they proceeded to say something about my specific age and then asked if there were any other women between 35-75 in the household and when I said no, they hung up. I called the number back and got Ipsos-Reid and a recording giving options one of which was to have your call returned or your number removed from the list. Option 2 from that menu sent you to audix where you were told that ext. "removal box" was busy and that you could leave a message.

Received a call from this number on 4-25-08 at 5:26 PM. No one spoke when I answered. Are they a legit company and why would be calling the US from Canada???

They KEEP calling and hanging up. They listen to our whole answerphone message then wait until it begins recording before disconnecting to obviously cause maximum distress possible. We have 3 children including a severely handicapped child and a newborn ................ what a charming company.

This number started calling at 7:00 pm and every 10 minutes, they would call again. I picked up then hung up and they would call back again. they called a total of 11 times up until 9:00 pm.

Received a call on 8 Apr at 5:06pm. ID said it was from -Gatineau QC

these fools called me at 11:15 PM on my cell phone which already has the number on the Do Not Call list.

Ottawahull, On called today. When asked if he was outsourced he said he was calling from Calif. I told him I do not talk to outsourced Co. thats to outsourcing I lost my job to India.

have called me 5 times since 4pm, it is now 9pm. Don't answer my phone is called does not show name or is unknown. Leaves message on my machine with a lot of voices in background and heavy breathing. A real pain.

They called me at 9pm on Sunday. I asked to speak to a supervisor and told her NEVER to call again.

Then I filed a complaint at www.donotcall.gov

I have received calls from this company. I do not not remembering calling them, but I have charges on my phone bill.

They called here several times, never leaving a message. I finally was home to answer the phone, but I spoke in Czech.

Everything they asked, I answered in Czech...they finally hung up, ON ME!! Never had that happen before.

Since they are Canadian, does the US DNC list apply?

Ipsos is a legitimate survey company. They do not telemarket. If you are on a "Do Not Call" list, they still have the legal right to call you because they are not selling or telemarketing anything. They are simply trying to get your opinion on various subjects. Filing complaints against them will do no good because Ipsos is not telemarketing. The only option you have, if you do not want to give them your opinion, is to ask them to remove your number from their list. Some phone companies offer a "Do Not Distribute" list, if you do not want these types of calls, I suggest that you call your local phone company and ask them to be added to the "Do Not Distribute" list. This way, your number will not be included in the lists that are purchased or otherwise obtained for these purposes.

They have called me several times over the last few days but I let the answering machine pick up since I figured it was a telemarketer. I thought this would deter them. I am also on the do not call list. When they continued to call, I finally answered and heard their schpiel about how they weren't selling anything but wanted to ask some questions, blah blah blah (basically 'please excuse us while we invade your privacy without invitation'). No offense to the non-english speakers out there, but after reading elsewhere about this idea, I said, "eh...no english?" He said that wasn't a problem and what language DID I speak? I again repeated, "eh...no english...no english?!" He said thank you anyway, have a nice day, we won't bother you again. Nicely done! I've had no more calls from them. Faster than arguing about being on THE list, less hassel than waiting for a number to call to be removed, etc. Worked great!

Two days in a row now I have received calls from this number and when I answer they hang up. I left them a nasty e-mail and I also called their toll free number until some one answered and told them to take me off the calling list. If I receive another call from them, I will repeatedly call their toll free number and hang up..it cost them not me. I too am on the nationa do not call registry. If you have trouble with them call 1-877-435-7147 and give them an ear full, believe it or not, an actual person answers at that number.

Wanted to send a sitcom for you to watch, and then will call back the next day for feedback. Seemed on the level.

My number is listed on the Do Not Call Registry, so I filed a complaint against this telemarketer.

If you call the number, there is an option to be removed from their calling list, but the mailbox was full.

What is this "Gatineau" and why do they keep calling me and not leaving any telephone messages? I'm elderly and try and sleep in the afternoons and they wake me up practically every day.

Some kind of survey company about TV shows

"Gatineau QC" called my cell phone twice in an hour. I don't know this caller so I don't answer and there is no voice mail.

This number 613-688-3625 keeps calling the house. They don't leave any message and when I get the call, they hang up. That's really annoying. Who are these people and what do they want ? I guess it's some telemarketing company ???

Got 2 calls yesterday with caller ID "GATINEAU QC". No message
