I received a call from this number too and was given the number of 702-448-7095 to call back if I wanted to pay the $69. I called the Clark County Recorder's office and they confirmed that they do not solicit and this was a scam.

I recently got married in Las Vegas, NV. I received a call 5 days after the day I got married at around 8:30pm EST or 5:30pm PST. The call was from someone claiming to be from the Clark County Recorder Office. They said that my recent marriage license has been filed with their courthouse and they where asking if we wanted to pay for our license over the phone instead of mailing it in. He asked for my credit card number.
I asked why nobody told us that someone would call us. He said there are many chapels who do not know about this and people at the courthouse who do not know about it. He was insistent that he was legitament and told me I could give him a credit card number.
I did not trust him and hung up and started looking on line for any information.
