I answered the call from this number and told them I don't want to have any more calls from them. They continue to call me anyway.

We are on the do-not-call list and do not appreciate these people calling us. If we receive any more calls, they will be reported.

MDS communications have called my home 2-3 times daily for the past 4 days.I have not answered the phone & they did not leave a message...that is why I Googled them to see WHO they are! Thank you....

A couple of notes after reading the comments below. First many of the people that are called by MDS Communications are called from a list that their clients provide them. Meaning more than likely you have given to that organization before.
Secondly, they use automated dialers that call your phone number. The call only gets connected to a real person on their end if you pick up. It will continue to call you until you pick up. If you answer the phone and a have a conversation with the person the system will stop calling you.

Finally the reason they keep calling people, is telemarketing works. There are so many people giving to non profits and the political groups that MDS Communications call for that they continue to stay in business. In the long run they are doing the right thing. Non profits and political groups need the finances to ensure that the people in our country are getting the help they need.

Don't be such a bad sport, pick up the phone, talk nicely with the person on the other end and possibly loosed up that wallet and make a small donation and help someone in need!

This nonsense is very close to personal abuse. "Out of Area" appears on my phone 6-12 times a day. The phone company says they can't help and I've contacted the Attorney General's Office in PA. When someone is actually on the line I've told them that there is NO WAY that they will get any contribution from me given the harassment. This practice should be outlawed!

Complaints will be filed with Attorney Generals of California and the New York and you will be personally named as a defendant in charges.
Most recently I have spoken to Jackie Crandall of your company on this issue and she has given personal assurances that my number would be stricken. So far this has not happened.

Just recieved a call, didn't answer it.

Aug. 22,08 = 2:45 PM - I didn't answer as I didn't recognize the phone #. However I did go where I could here the message, in case it was someone I wanted to speak to. They (and others like them) hang up when they hear my message come on. Soon it will get worse as the elections come closer .............

I just returned the call. The voice mail says to just:

Leave your name, phone number and request to get on their COMPANY WIDE "do not call list" and wait about two weeks. You're done!

Good luck with that.

I have received several "hang-up" calls in the past two weeks. I am reporting them to Do Not Call.

We get hang-up phone calls from this number all the time.

The problem with the Do Not Call registry is that it exempts calls for political reasons and for non-profits. I'm okay with non-profits having the ability to raise money -- but, it sure would be nice if we could get rid of the political calls!

I checked their website. (http://www.mdscom.com) They pride themselves in using DNC lists to show how well they get donations from those on the DNC list.

These bastards call two or three times A DAY. If the answering machine picks up, they never leave a message. If my wife or I answer the phone, NO ONE is ever there. We are on the PA and federal DNC list. These people should be fined.

I think there calling is down right abusive. They should be considered the same as telemarketers and made to use the Do Not Call registery.

I just got appx. the 20th call in the last month from these scum on my cell phone. I have never answered, yet they still continue to call. They never leave voicemail. They used to ring my cell only in the evening hours, but now they are getting more desperate and have started calling me early in the morning also. I can't wait till this sorry operation runs out of money and goes to the hell pit where these gutless, predatory unsolicited telemarketers end up! Patience, patience... :-)

They keep calling me for a donation for McCain. Keep it up and I'll vote for someone else.

I am so fed up with this company because they keep calling me.I thought that there was a law where companies cannot keep calling you. Do I have to get a lawer and sue this company? Maybe a law firm should review this and see if there could be a case against this company for harassement?

This number has called me several days in a row. I answered a couple of times, because I don't always know the person calling me (business), there was no one there. I called the number back, and it said it was a "non-working" number....very slick.

This number has called me several times over the past few months. I have not answered and they never left a message. Today, I did to tell them not to call me anymore, as I am on the DNC list. When I answered they said They are the Pro Life Committee and I am on it! I told them not to call me any more. They said that they would take my name off the list for one month and I said permanently. They hung up on me. They are rude and ignorant. I am not on any Pro Life committee. They kept asking me if my name was such and such and I would neither confirm nor deny. Do not give them any information, just tell them do not call permanently. I am going to report these people to the proper authorities.

They have been calling for a few weeks now. When they call now, I just let the fax machine answer, seems to be working. They think it's a fax number. They don't leave a message, they just kept calling. don't answer it.

I started getting the same calls since late April 2008...but they never leave a message...I think spoofing is going on.

Probably a scam to make sure your number works, Have run into many phone scams these days. Bottom line, if you have caller ID and do not recognize the #, DO NOT PICK IT UP. I have signed up with the "do not call" registry but found this number on my caller ID when I returned home one day. I googled it & found out it is a telemarketer. What good is the do not call list if these calls still continue?

A male called our house phone asking for my daughter, but mispronouncing her first and last names. During the few seconds it took for me to find where she was in our house, the caller hung up. Inasmuch as my daughter's name is not listed with our house phone number, the caller obviously got her name and number from a purchased list of purloined information rather than the phone book.

I've had my number "taken off" of their lists 3 times now, starting last year. It doesn't work, it's just more smoke and mirrors to look like MDS gives a crap about the people they are harassing.

After getting numerous calls which I don't answer, I took advice from another website; called the no. back. Got a "polite" and informative automated message about this company who does fundraising for non-profits (and therefore exempt from the govt. "Do Not Call" list.) But it also gives you the option to leave your # to be taken off specific calling lists or all of their calling lists. (It will take a few weeks to be fully effective.)

That was easy. One less aggravation in life now.

Way to go Republicans. First you pick John McCain (McSame as Bush?) as a candidate and now you've got some trash company repeatedly calling me. I realize they are allowed to under the Do Not Call list, but do people really respond to this kind of harassment? Caller ID shows that they called when I was out. Comments by others suggest that it may be a survey. My belief is that survey telemarketers deserve no better treatment than the identity thief telemarketers. I waste identity thief telemarketers' time by giving false data. I waste survey telemarketers' time by answering "no" to all questions

They just called representing the Republican National Headquarters

If you call them at this number, they tell you that they can call because they represent fund raising for non-profit organizations only. They called me for a politcal campaign survey which had nothing to do with fund raising. Another excuse to try and get around the do-not-call list. What a bunch of losers.

Since I have caller ID, I just let it ring every time - I chuckle at the thought that they are repeatedly wasting their time and money.

The outgoing message on our answering machine goes like this:
"Hello. We do use this machine to screen our calls. If you are a telemarkteer we will not pick up. If you're anyone else, please leave a message." We go through the caller ID on our phone and saw 602-388-8058 (Unknown Name) and had no idea who it could be until I found this site (thanks).

Do not appreciate solicitation phone calls like these. We are on every no-call list available and still these come in.

Here's why-- they will not identify themselves in Caller ID- which means they are fine to waste my time waiting for their computer system to actually connect a person to the line while I wait on the other end. A woman who did not identify herself or why she was calling called at about 10:05 this morning, asking for my wife (she mispronounced the name). When I asked to take a message, she said she would just try again later.

MDS is interested in getting your opinion.. That's their business model. I've decided to regularly and repeatedly offer them my opinion through their email addresses, website, phone and fax numbers.

Hey, heres an idea. Steve was kind enough to provide a list of people and phone numbers for MDS communications. Maybe all these telemarketers should get a taste of their own medicine. You know get folks to call them and pester them with requests and stupid questions.

Call received on 1/14/2008 at 8:11 PM PST. I answered the call but since I did not recognize the number or area code I did not identify myself. When the solicitor asked for me I simply said that I was not available. They then asked for Mrs. BBBBB and when I informed them that there is no Mrs. she simply hung up without ever identifying herself. Thanks to this website I was not only able to identify the calling party but I used their webpage www.mdscom.com to request to be removed from their call list. we'll see if it stops their calls.

This number calls me ALL THE TIME. I never answer - so thankful for caller id!! My phone is for my personal use only.

We received a call on Christmas Eve and didn't answer the phone. We donate to known charities and an affiliated political party. However, NEVER OVER THE PHONE. We don't even mind the surveys, but on Christmas Eve? No thanks.

I received several calls from this number in the past few days. On the internet I found where someone suggested it was a Fedex/Kinkos' follow-up survey. Since I had been to Fedex/Kinkos recently, I answered. It was a very nice lady with a 90 second survey on my experience at Fedex/Kinkos. She was grateful that I took the time to answer her call and I am glad that I did. It did not cost me anything and maybe helped her and the Fedex/Kinkos store employees.

What do these people want ?? If they spoke to you it would be one thing. I called the damn number and told them to take my name off. Hope it works. We can't even have peace in our own homes.

They are calling for non-profit groups. You can call the number back and ask to be purged from all their lists. You can also go to their website www.mdscom.com and sign up to be removed from their lists. I just did both.

Caller ID info always shows "Unavailable". I do not do any
business with any Arizona firms, and even being on a
national "Do Not Call" list has not stopped this jerk/jerks from
