Caller ID said "Family Readers" I picked it up and there was no answer.. obviously a telemarketer. I hung up.
It's a Canadian Magazine promotion where they give you a choice of 6 magazines to subscribe to for approximately 2 years + 5 years of McLeans for $425.00 divided over 5 years.
Sounds nice but would you spend that much on magazines to begin with? Lifestyle choice basically.
Anyhow, they must have called 15 times before someone on their end actually picked up the phone to speak with me. Most of the time I could hear a ringing phone or nothing at all.
