They call me all day long and never leave any messages.

Called my home number every afternoon Monday to Friday and don't leave messages

Don't answer I made that mistake!!!! They claim to be with Primus long distance company they will not take no for an answer and they are up to something fishy they seem to know all my information like name and phone company I do business with. They called on Sunday first.. I have never recieved a call for a telemarketer on a Sunday before . Called yesterday and I had to hang up on them. Called again today and I had to tell the woman off to get the message. Next time they call me they will not be talking to me they will be talking to my airhorn through the reciever or my two year old scream at the top of her lungs I am sure they will get the message then.I was reading on an other page they are calling through the internet that is why the number shows up this way. I also callled my phone company to make sure they could not change anything and they aslo told me they were calling through the internet.

they call almost everyday. i picked up once but now i never do---still they call. grrrrrr

This same number has called me everyday this week on behalf of primus. The call quality is terrible and they are always people that do not speak english very well. I have repeatedly told them to quit calling me and then I just hang up. Annoying!!

123-456-7890 is what appears on your caller ID when someone calls your landline or cell number from a computer using their Skype-Out account.

This number is also appart of a web scam. I was looking for Maltese puppies on-line and thought I found one. What I really found was a scam. They wanted me to wire them money so they could send me the money. They were very pushy and claimed it was because they were on a mission. An alternate number they called from was 23797031767. The number is from somewhere in Cameroon. Don't buy into it.

Go to wiki answers, it gives a great explanation: the number is skype and is used by thousands of people, some hide behind the number doing scams other are very legit. Skype has to fix this to keep it clean. The nmber replaced mine when i was writing to my senator online!

I got the same run around from Hosto, Buchan, Prayer & Lawrence collectors for LVNV. I missed a court date due to my error as i wrote it down wrong. They were issued a judgement. I immediately filed an appeal in Circuit court. They had 30 days to reply to the appeal and to request a new court date. That was back in Nov. 08. Today i received another letter from them willing to settle for 70% of the original amount. I guess no one has looked at the original file to see what was going on. Interesting the letter was posted marked from letter stuffer 600 miles away from their office. Talk about junk mail.

in response to "daisy", no this is not a real collection agency or anything, I too get calls from this number, I don't even own a credit card, and my bills are always paid on time.

have been receiving a significant number of calls from this number and similar:

123 456-7890
222 222-2222
etc...

they suddenly stopped when the car warranty scam got mentioned on nationwide news. might this be the source?

Calls ring, early in the morning. Apparently no one on the other end when I answer it.
